Southern Bluefin Tuna are true ocean giants and are often found well offshore, sometimes over the continental shelf. While the journey out can be long, it provides a unique opportunity to experience some of the most spectacular sights the ocean has to offer, from abundant marine life to breathtaking offshore scenery.
Most of our tuna fishing involves trolling an assortment of carefully selected lures while searching for signs of feeding fish. We keep a close eye on diving birds, bait schools and surface activity, constantly looking for clues that lead us to the action.
There are few fishing experiences that compare to the excitement of Southern Bluefin Tuna fishing. Watching tuna explode on the surface before a reel suddenly screams into life as a powerful fish tears off at incredible speed is something every angler should experience at least once.
